Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 25

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 400/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to INR 15,800/mt ($234/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have risen by INR 600/mt ($9/mt) over the same period to INR 17,900/mt ($265/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices in India have remained unchanged week on week at $205/mt CFR.
