Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 22

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved sideways over the past week at INR 26,200/mt ($375/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have remained stable over the same period at INR 28,200/mt ($403/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have increased by $5/mt week on week to $330/mt CFR.
