Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 21

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 700/mt over the past week to INR 20,800/mt ($322/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by INR 300/mt over the same period to INR 20,700/mt ($320mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have declined by $10/mt week on week to $300/mt CFR.
