Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved down by INR 100/mt over the past week to INR 26,200/mt ($379/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 200/mt over the same period to INR 28,100/mt ($406/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have declined by $5/mt week on week to $330/mt CFR.
