Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved up by INR 100/mt over the past week to INR 26,300/mt ($384/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have increased by INR 200/mt over the same period to INR 28,300/mt ($413/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved sideways week on week at $335/mt CFR.
