Local scrap purchase prices of Turkish mills

SteelOrbis has been informed that local scrap purchase prices of Turkish mills effective as of January 25, 2012 are at the following levels:

TRY 550-570/mt         (approx. $302-313/mt)

Meanwhile, in its price list a Turkish mill has announced a single overall price for a mixed quality composed of HMS I/II (70:30), HMS I/II (50:50) and HMS II at TRY 630/mt (approx. $346/mt).

All above prices are for deliveries to customer.
