Local scrap price goes up in Japan

Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co. has once again increased its purchase price of local H2 scrap for delivery to its several works in the country. Price increases at the range of Yen 300-500/mt were given for February 26 deliveries and new price of H2 scrap is now at the range of Yen 17'500-19'000/mt. Deliveries by sea requires Yen 500/mt additional payment.
