Japanese domestic H2 scrap trending stable, slightly down in dollar terms

On July 6, SteelOrbis reported domestic H2 scrap prices had moved up slightly. Prices were reportedly at JPY 34,300-34,500/mt ($310-312/mt) for H2 scrap and at JPY 38,700-39,000/mt ($350-353/mt) for shindachi scrap, all prices delivered.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices are trending stable at JPY 34,300-34,500/mt ($309-311/mt) for H2 scrap and at JPY 38,700-39,000/mt ($349-351/mt) for shindachi scrap, all prices delivered. Due to currency fluctuations, prices declined $1/mt on H2 scrap and $1-2/mt on shindachi scrap.
