Import scrap prices in Turkey increase slightly

It is observed that import HMS I/II 80:20 scrap deals concluded in Turkey over the last two weeks were mostly at $350-353/mt CFR, but the most recent ex-US deal for the same grade was at $357/mt CFR, indicating a slight improvement in prices. Meanwhile, SteelOrbis has been informed that deep sea scrap offers to Turkey in the current week have been at $360/mt and slightly higher.

Additionally, short sea scrap prices are currently in the range of $339-344/mt CFR Turkey, depending on the origin and the port of delivery.
