Further ex-Baltic scrap transactions in Turkey

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that, after an ex-Baltic booking heard in Turkey early today, April 8, other scrap deals have also been concluded to Turkey from the same region.
 
Accordingly, a Turkish mill has concluded a transaction for 15,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $382/mt CFR, 8,000 mt of shredded scrap at $387/mt CFR and 2,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at the price level of $392/mt CFR. Meanwhile, another Turkish producer has bought 40,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap from the Baltic region at $384/mt CFR.
