Ex-US scrap bookings in Turkey

Market sources report that in the past week a Turkish steelmaker has concluded an ex-US deal for 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $335/mt CFR, 20,000 mt of shredded scrap at $340/mt CFR and 5,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at $345/mt CFR.
 
Meanwhile, also in the past week, another Turkish steelmaker has concluded a scrap deal from the same region and from the same supplier at the same respective price levels mentioned above for 23,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap, 15,000 mt of shredded scrap and for 7,000 mt of bonus grade scrap.
