Ex-Europe scrap transactions in Turkey

A Turkish steelmaker has concluded an ex-Europe deal for a cargo consisting of 22,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap and 16,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at the average price level of $226.5/mt CFR.
 
Additionally, the same Turkish steelmaker has concluded another ex-Europe booking for a cargo consisting of 19,500 mt of HMS I/II 75:25 scrap, 8,000 mt of shredded scrap, 3,000 mt of busheling scrap, 7,500 mt of HMS I scrap and 1,500 mt of cut rebar scrap at the average price level of $225.75/mt CFR.
 
Meanwhile, market sources state that another Turkish steel mill has concluded an ex-Europe deal for 30,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $222/mt CFR.
