Ex-Canada scrap booking in Turkey

SteelOrbis has been informed that a Turkish mill has concluded a booking for an ex-Canada scrap cargo composed of 20,000 mt of HMS I scrap, 5,000 mt of shredded scrap and 5,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at the price level of $403/mt CFR.

After this transaction, ex-US HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers at about $415/mt CFR, which have failed to gain acceptance, are also expected to move down rapidly.
