Sources inform SteelOrbis that ex-CIS basic steelmaking pig iron offers to the US are presently at $340-350/mt CFR US or approximately $327-337/mt FOB Baltic Sea. The offers are reportedly steady week-on-week after a new deal level was reported by SteelOrbis on October 18. Compared to offer levels of $370-385/mt CFR US port reported in early October, prices have declined $30/mt from the bottom of that range and $35/mt from the top of the same range.

Ex-CIS low-manganese prig iron offers are currently at $360-370/mt FOB Baltic Sea. The prices have declined $45/mt from the $405-415/mt FOB Baltic Sea range reported in early October.
