European scrap deals in Turkey

According to market sources, a Turkish steel mill has concluded a deal with a European supplier for a cargo consisting of 15,000 mt of HMS I/II 75:25 scrap, 15,000 mt of HMS I scrap and 5,000 mt of new cuttings at the average price level of $359/mt CFR, for February shipment.

Meanwhile, it is reported that another Turkish steel mill has concluded a deal with the same European supplier for a cargo consisting of 15,000 mt of HMS I/II 75:25 scrap, 11,000 mt of HMS I scrap, 4,000 mt of new cuttings and 6,000 mt of shredded scrap at the average price level of $358/mt CFR, for March shipment.
