Domestic scrap prices in Turkey have been continuing their uptrend since the beginning of the current week. Some mills have once again increased their domestic scrap purchase prices today, September 9, by TRY 20-105/mt or $2-13/mt according to today’s currency rate. Some of the mills that have kept their lira-based prices stable have decreased their dollar quotations by $1/mt.

Following the changes in question, the benchmark DKP grade scrap prices in Turkey have increased on the lower end to TRY 2,000-2,345/mt ($267-313/mt). The price range was at TRY 1,960-2,345/mt ($262-314/mt) yesterday.
