The downtrend of Turkish mills’ domestic scrap purchase prices has continued today, March 26, with some quotations moving down by TRY 20-50/mt as compared to yesterday. As a result, some mills have cut their dollar-based prices by $2-11/mt depending on the grade.
For the mills that have decided to keep their Turkish lira-based prices stable, their quotations on dollar basis have decreased by $2-3/mt due to the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar.
