Dock prices for HMS I/II 80:20 in Los Angeles expected to rise

Dock delivered prices for HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices Los Angeles, CA have remained level, week-over-week, although it’s widely speculated that prices will start to firm in the upcoming days.  Many believe that upticks in global scrap prices (includin the recent, higher-priced ex-US cargo sales to Taiwan) will continue, and as such, dock prices would be raised in tandem with higher sales prices.

For now, the dock delivered price range for HMS I/II 80:20 scrap in Los Angeles is still being heard at approximately $220-$240/gt, reflecting no change since our last report a week ago. An official upward revision is expected to come before the end of the week.
