SteelOrbis has learned that the dock delivered price range for P&S scrap in New York is now being heard at approximately $300-305/gt ($305-310/mt), off from earlier estimates at $305-315/gt ($310-320/mt). Market insiders said New York P&S dock prices are lower as deep sea scrap prices decline and low priced billet continues to weigh on US export scrap markets.
