Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 48

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) during the past week to NTD 5,000-5,900/mt ($154-182/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis. 
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 1,000/mt ($31/mt) over the past week to NTD 32,500-37,000/mt ($1,000-1,137/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in the middle and end of December.
