Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 52

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remaind stable during the past week at NTD 4,700-5,600/mt ($143-171/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis. 
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 500-1,000/mt ($15-30/mt) over the past week to NTD 31,000-35,500/mt ($944-1,080/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in the middle of January.
