SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 7,700-8,400/mt ($250-273/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 30,500-33,000/mt ($992-1,073/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late November shipments.
