SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 7,700-8,400/mt ($250-273/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 30,500-33,000/mt ($990-1,071/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-to-late November shipments.
