SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 7,700-8,400/mt ($251-274/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt ($16/mt) over the past week to NTD 30,500-33,000/mt ($994-1,076/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-November shipments.
