SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 7,700-8,400/mt ($252-275/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 1,000/mt ($33/mt) over the past week to NTD 31,000-33,500/mt ($1,015-1,097/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early November shipments.
