SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 7,700-8,400/mt ($253-276/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market remained stable over the past week at NTD 32,000-34,500/mt ($1,051-1,133/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late October-early November shipments.
