SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 7,700-8,400/mt ($252-275/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt ($16/mt) over the past week to NTD 32,000-34,500/mt ($1,047-1,129/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late October shipments.
