Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 36, 2023

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 11,300-12,000/mt ($353-375/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen NTD 1,000/mt ($31/mt) over the past week to NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,234-1,312/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early October shipments.
