SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,200-8,900/mt ($269-292/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 1,500/mt ($49/mt) stable over the past week to NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,032-1,114/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-to-late September shipments.
