SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) over the past week to NTD 7,900-8,600/mt ($264-287/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 500/mt ($17/mt) over the past week to NTD 30,500-33,000/mt ($1,018-1,102/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late July shipments.
