SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,000-10,700/mt ($316-338/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have dropped by NTD 1,000/mt ($32/mt) over the past week to NTD 37,500-40,000/mt ($1,185-1,264/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in mid-July.
