SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have fallen by 600 NTD/mt ($20/mt) over the past week to NTD 8,100-8,800/mt ($275-299/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,069-1,154/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early-to-mid July shipments.
