SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,200-10,900/mt ($324-346/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 38,500-41,000/mt ($1,223-1,302/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in early July.
