Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 23, 2023

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 400/mt ($13/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,900-10,600/mt ($322-345/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 42,000-44,500/mt ($1,365-1,446/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early July shipments.
