SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 10,400-11,100/mt ($331-353/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt ($16/mt) over the past week to NTD 38,500-41,000/mt ($1,224-1,303/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in late June.
