SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have risen by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,400-11,100/mt ($330-352/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have dropped by NTD 1,000/mt ($32/mt) over the past week to NTD 39,000-41,500/mt ($1,236-1,315/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in mid-to-late June.
