Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 1

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have risen by NTD 400/mt ($13/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,800-12,500/mt ($384-407/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 42,500-45,000/mt ($1,385-1,466/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late January shipments.
