SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 7,600-8,500/mt ($240-268/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have also remained unchanged week on week at NTD 40,000-44,000/mt ($1,261-1,387/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for end of March shipments.
