Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 52

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) since last week and are still quoted at NTD 8,400-9,300/mt ($266-294/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 500/mt ($16/mt) to NTD 43,500-46,500/mt ($1,377-1,472/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early January shipments.
