Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 48

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt over the past week to NTD 7,500-7,800/mt ($246-256/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 35,500-38,000/mt ($1,163-1,245/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early December shipments.
