SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 100/mt during the past week to NTD 10,700-11,000/mt ($346-356/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 34,200-36,700/mt ($1,106-1,187/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid December shipments.
