Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 46

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week and are still quoted at NTD 8,900-9,800/mt ($291-321/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained in the range of NTD 43,000-47,000/mt ($1,408-1,538/mt) ex-yard, indicating no change over the past week.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for end of November shipments.
