SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 6,900-7,200/mt ($225-235/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 2,000/mt over the past week to NTD 34,500-37,000/mt ($1,127-1,209/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early November shipments.
