Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 39

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan declined by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) during the past week to NTD 6,200-7,100/mt ($197-226/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 34,000-37,000/mt ($1,081-1,176/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late October and early November shipment.
