Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 37

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 7,900-8,600/mt ($269-293/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 35,500-38,000/mt ($1,210-1,296/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early October shipments.
