SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have remained stable during the past week at NTD 6,400-7,300/mt ($205-234/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 34,000-37,000/mt ($1,088-1,184/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early October shipment.
