SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 12,600-13,300/mt ($451-477/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 42,500-45,000/mt ($1,523-1,612/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early and mid-August shipments.
