Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 26

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 8,300-8,700/mt ($268-281/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 32,500-35,000/mt ($1,048-1,129/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late July shipments.
