Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 18

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 800/mt ($25/mt) during the past week to NTD 8,500-9,100/mt ($264-282/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 33,000-35,500/mt ($1,024-1,102/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in mid-July.
