SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) during the past week to NTD 7,300-8,200/mt ($240-269/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged week on week at NTD 39,000-42,000/mt ($1,280-1,378/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late May and early June shipments.
